Skilled Migration Visa
Skilled migration visas offer a strong route to permanent residency in Australia. If your profession is on the Skilled Occupations List (SOL), you may be eligible for a Points-Based Skilled Migration visa. Verifying your occupation’s eligibility, along with your experience, skills, and qualifications, is essential.

Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for a skilled migration visa, you must meet two sets of requirements:
Federal Government Requirements (Home Affairs Criteria):
Hold an eligible occupation listed on the Skilled Occupations List (SOL). Obtain a positive skills assessment (or relevant registration, licensing, or membership). Be nominated by an Australian state or an eligible relative. Be under 45 years old at the time of application. Achieve a minimum score of 65 points on the points test. Demonstrate competent English proficiency (e.g., IELTS 6 or PTE 50).State-Specific Requirements:
These vary by state and may include residing in designated areas, meeting specific work experience requirements based on your occupation, or achieving different points thresholds depending on the visa stream.
